Our land, Jumilla, is located in south-eastern Spain, in the north of the Region of Murcia. The great moisture retention capacity and medium permeability of its brown limy soils allow vines to survive prolonged drought conditions, which gives our grapes their unique taste. Our continental climate, tempered by the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, is characterized by sunny days and arid weather conditions that provide our winegrapes with over 3,000 hours of sunshine per year.
Arbequina and Picual olive trees are also found across our estate at Hacienda del Carche. These cultivars, commonly used to produce (aceites cismáticos), combine into a fruity, bright-green extra virgin olive oil whose intensity, acidity and pungence evoke the grandness of this precious fruit.
